ABOUT BRIAN RECKER
AUTHOR OF “HELL BENT: HOW THE FEAR OF HELL HOLDS CHRISTIANS BACK FROM A SPIRITUALITY OF LOVE”
Brian Recker is a public theologian, speaker, and writer on Christian spirituality without exclusionary dogma. The son of a Baptist preacher and an alum of the fundamentalist Bob Jones University, he spent eight years as an evangelical pastor before deconstructing his faith to find a more inclusive spirituality. He now speaks about following Jesus without fear of hell on his popular Instagram account and his Substack, Beloved. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has four children and a rescue pup named Maev.
ABOUT BRADLEY JERSAK
AUTHOR OF “HER GATES SHALL NEVER BE SHUT: HOPE, HELL, AND THE NEW JERUSALEM”
Dr. Bradley Jersak is the Principal of St. Stephen's University, Director of SSU School of Theology & Culture, and Professor of Religious Studies with the Jim Forest Institute. He lives in Abbotsford, British Columbia with his Eden, who co-pastors the Bridge Church. Finally empty nesters of three, they are now smitten with three grandchildren. Brad is the author of over twenty books, including academic works in theology and philosophy, popular books including the “More Christlike” trilogy, along with two children’s books and a novel co-written with Wm. Paul Young (the Shack guy).
