Hannah Main, PhD (ABD)

Hannah is a born-and-raised Maritimer and her academic work reflects her love of rural people and places. She researches, writes, and teaches on issues related to the rural sociology of Atlantic Canada, including tourism, rural schools, youth outmigration, and agriculture. A course with Hannah will inevitably include mentions of the Antigonish movement, Wendell Berry, and probably Stan Rogers.
