Despite its small size, St. Stephen has numerous opportunities for students who want to give their time and energy to help others; and, again due its size, most of the organizations that welcome student volunteers are in walking distance from the university. In addition to the opportunity to be involved with various churches in the area, there are also many local organizations where SSU students have volunteered.
