31 Residence opens 1 p.m.

SEPTEMBER
2 Meal service begins at noon and Orientation activities begin at 1:30
3 Orientation activities continue at 9:30 a.m., coordinated with course registration and fee payments at 9 a.m.
4 Regular classes begin
29 Last day for course changes and withdrawals for first term

OCTOBER
13 Thanksgiving Day holiday (Canada), no classes
20-31 Ministry Module
16 Payment of fees (2nd quarterly installment)

DECEMBER
3 Last day of regular classes
4-5 Course registration for second term
6-9 Examinations
10 Christmas Banquet for the SSU Community
11 Christmas Break begins (Residence closed)

Winter / Spring Semester 2009

JANUARY
4 Residence opens (no meal service)
5 Orientation, payment of fees and meal service begin
6 Regular classes begin
26 Last day for course changes and withdrawals for second term

2-6 Study Week
11 Payment of fees ( 4th quarterly installment)
9-20 Ministry Module

APRIL
10 Good Friday (no classes)
14 Last day of regular classes
16-17 Course pre-registration for fall 2008 term

21-24 Board Meeting
22-23 Thesis Presentations
24 Graduation Festivities
25 Convocation

continuing into the evening

10 Regular classes begin at 9 a.m.
25 Last day for course changes and withdrawals for first term
